While bluegill fishing this summer always be prepared for the occassional bass to come in and eat your offerings. Often while casting poppers along gravel bars for gills I'll get a bucketmouth or a bronzeback. What a great suprise!!! The fish above took a small rubber legged streamer. My dogs love wading with me while casting for bluegills. Have fun this summer on your favorite small pond or lake, you never know you might get suprised too.
