Have you ever thought about Fly Fishing for Peacocks in the Amazon. I highly recommend it to anyone. Not only for adventure, the fishing is exciting too. Here is a picture of the average Bass. As you can see in the pic the water was high, which made getting to the big ones tough. We didn't get anything over seven pounds, in Brazil its not considered big until they reach twelve pounds. Fun anyhow. This is the first post of a series on fly fishing the Amazon. I look forward to sharing this experience with you.

Its been awhile since my last post. It doesn't mean that the fishing has stopped, its just getting started. The Clarion has been near perfect for streamer fishing this spring and the Allegheny is finally at a fishable level. Enjoy the picture of the wild Brown Shane caught yesterday while we tested the Creek Company pontoon on a narrow stream yesterday. More to come soon.........

Allegheny River Fly Fishing

With the last week being dry the Allegheny River in North Western Pennsylvania has been red hot for fly fishing. The Corp of Engineer has been letting little water out of the Dam creating great wading conditions as well as floating conditions. This has been the best early summer late spring fishing on the Allegheny yet. We've been catching healthy nice sized fish. The Caddis have been hatching and all of the other evening hatches will be following soon.
